MENU, the zine
is one of the things I made as Francis. It consists of photographs and song lyrics.
And it has a very strong sense of place for some reason. I still like it for that.
This is the atmosphere I will try to bring into this project.
And of course, Vadik Marmeladov's LAM, that almost became Dazed&Confused Russia, which partly inspired MENU.

Locations
Uttoxeter, the place where everything begins.
A small town in the middle of nowhere (52.898375, -1.866164, to be precise). I came upon this place one day when detailing Francis' (then: my fake internet personality; now: the hero) Behance profile. It had to be a designer from Europe, but not from a major city. Uttoxeter fits well, I thought. It's England, which automatically adds a layer of sophistication, but it's a tiny unheard-of town, which takes away high expectations.
I've been there once, and a some of the pictures have been uploaded to Francis' instagram, which can be used in the story.
